Kenneth Love’s new documentary follows the artist from his early urban landscapes of the Hill District to his last allegorical abstract paintings. Rosenberg's career, evolving style, and technique are illuminated in interviews with scholars and former students. Reminiscences by family members and rare home movies add a personal side to this portrait of “the dean of Pittsburgh painters.”
