"All is Well by Me" chronicles the private and professional life of Pittsburgh native, singer Josie Katz, who went to Israel at 19 to volunteer on a kibbutz. She became an important player in the history of Israeli popular music after becoming involved with singer/songwriter Shmulik Kraus and, along with Arik Einstein, forming the musical trio, High Windows. The group enjoyed international success, but Josie’s personal life deteriorated, due in large part to Kraus’ alcoholism and violent behavior. “All Is Well By Me” includes archival footage from High Windows performances and shows Josie, today, making a comeback in music. Nominated for Best Documentary, Israeli Academy Awards.

Filmmaker Yaron Amitai will lead a discussion following the screening.
