In response to Iran's aggressive pursuit of nuclear-weapons capability, the United Jewish Federation has adopted an Iran Action Plan and formed an Iran Task Force to educate and mobilize both the Jewish and non-Jewish community.
The objective is to enlist not only Pittsburgh's Jewish community but all of Pittsburgh in a campaign supporting diplomatic and financial measures to stop Iran's development of nuclear weapons.
Creating such a campaign in Pittsburgh is a high and urgent priority for the UJF and the sole focus of the Iran Task Force, which is co-chaired by community leaders Barbara Burstin and David Steinbach.
This Web site is an important part of the unfolding campaign. Please check it regularly for updated news articles, lists of Iran-related events, and other important information.
